The Avs visit the Wild in a matchup of what many think will be 2 of the better teams in the Western Conference this season. The Wild have looked pretty bad defensively through 2 games having surrendered 14 goals (7 in each game) prompting forward M. Zuccarello to say “We play defense like a f**king junior team. I don’t think they can correct this that quickly and versus a team like the Avs. The Avs lost some good pieces in free agency but are still a talented squad and like them tonight by multiple goals versus a Wild team that is really struggling on the defensive end right now.

Boston Bruins +121

The undefeated Bruins (2-0-0) host the undefeated Panthers (2-0-0) at TD Garden tonight. We’re expected to see S. Bobrovsky and L. Ullmark in goal for both teams, both played extremely in their lone start this season, however, of the 2, Brobovsky is the one that will have a tendency to throw a stinker game in there. On any given night he could be off and the next thing you know the Panthers are down 2 or 3 goals in the first period. The Bruins lineup got a nice boast this season with the return of D. Krejci whom returned from playing in the Czech Republic last season. The Bruins have beaten the Panthers in 3 of the last 4 in Boston and expect that dominance to continue.

Vancouver Canucks +119

The Canucks are in Washington to face the Capitals tonight. The Canucks have not looked good 2 games in, they got smoked by the Oilers 5-3 in their first game and then blew a 2-0 lead to the Flyers and eventually lost 3-2 on Saturday. I like Coach B. Boudreau to have them prepared versus his former team tonight and expect a strong performance form JT. Miller; Miller expressed his frustrations of himself as he’s been on the ice for all 8 goals surrendered by the Canucks and that he cannot be a leader on this team with his current play. The Caps will also be playing their 4th game in 6 nights and looked primed to be upset tonight.
