TB Buccaneers/Buffalo Bills O43.5 -106
The Bucs are in Buffalo to face the Bills on TNF. The Bills are off an embarrassing loss to the Pats on the road last week, while the Bucs are off a 16-13 home loss to the Falcons. The Bills D is clearly not what it was last season as they've given 20 plus points in 4 of their 7 games this season however, their offense has scored 20 plus points in 5 of them. The Bucs on their end have seesawed offensively in their games, some weeks looking good and others incompetent. They have the weapons offensively in Evans, Godwin and White, it's just a question of getting them the ball. I like this game to go over the total.
Colorado Avalanche -131
The undefeated Avs are in Pittsburgh to face the struggling Penguins, the Avs have run off 6 straight wins to start the season and have looked great. The Pens have now lost 3 straight and perhaps the age of this core dynasty of players (Crosby, Malkin & Letang) is starting to kick in, I'm sure the things will get better but as long as goalie T. Jarry continues with a save percentage under .900 the Pens will have difficulty winning games. I like the Avs here tonight.
New York Rangers -1.5 +190
The Rangers look to win their 3rd straight game when they take on the Oilers tonight. The Oilers where having a rough start to the season and then the injury to C. McDavid might make it even worse. Their first game without McDavid was a 7-4 loss to the Wild, but at the end of the day, the Oilers have scored enough goals to win games, it's their goaltending that stinks. Neither goalies J. Campbell (4.35 GAA) or S. Skinner (4.29 GAA) have been even serviceable to this point. Until they get better goaltending the Oilers are a must fade.
