Arizona Coyotes -101
I hate to sound like a broken record here but the Coyotes will not be pushovers in the NHL this season, they've beaten the Devils and played the Rangers and Islanders really tough in 2-1 and 1-0 losses respectively. Tonight they take on a team in the Blues that itself hasn't looked great out of the gates on the season and is very beatable. I like the Yotes core of forwards much better that of the Blues and the Blues will be going with backup J. Hofer in goal, Hofer didn't perform that great in 6 games last season posting a 3.22 GAA. Give me the Yotes on the road tonight.
Seattle Kraken +125
The fishy line of this night in the NHL belongs to this game between the Canes and the Kraken. The Canes at 3-1 face the winless Kraken at 0-3-1 and for some reason or another the Canes are only -137 favs. The Kraken's best showing so far this season was a 2-1 shootout loss to the Blues, so explain to me why the Canes are only -137 here, there is no good reason apart from Vegas trying to trap people into thinking this will be an easy win. I will be contrarian here and back the Kraken to get their first win of the season.
New Orleans Saints -127
The Saints host the Jags tonight on TNF, the Jags come into this game at 4-2 while the Saints are 3-3. The Jags are off a big win over the Colts last Sunday 37-20 but it may have been a costly win as T. Lawrence was injured and isn't 100% for tonight's game. The Saints are off a loss to the Texans where they didn't look great. With a short time to prepare I feel like the home team has an advantage with no travel and the home crowd to help them. I like the Saints to get back on the winning track and beat the Jags tonight.
