Casper Ruud +1.5 sets +113

This afternoon is the Finals of the ATP Nitto tournament that comprises the top 8 male tennis players of 2022. We’re down to Norway’s C. Ruud and Serbia’s N. Djokovic, both have played sensational tennis this week with Novak not losing a match while Ruud dropped a match to Rafa, however, it was a match that had no bearing on his round robin results so I question if he gave it his all. Yesterday, Ruud made real quick work of A. Rublev while Novak beat T. Fritz in straight sets (7-6, 7-6); however, it was grueling match. I’ve watched Djokovic’s last 2 matches versus Medvedev and Fritz and he could have honestly lost both and he run into fatigue issues after the first set of both. I think Ruud is playing well enough to win the match and definitely take a set. On a side bar, you may want to consider playing Ruud @ +320 for a .25 unit for extra action on this match.

Chicago Blackhawks +182

The Penguins visit the United Center to face the Blackhawks tonight. The Hawks have been god awful of late losing 8 of 10 and will be on a B2B after getting smoked by the Bruins 6-1 last night. However, with that being said, the Penguins whom are an older team will also be on a B2B and 4th in 6 nights. The Penguins have had zero success on B2B this season at 0-3-1 in 4 tries. As bad as the Hawks have been, they’re still a very respectful 4-4-1 on home ice and can see them giving the Penguins issues tonight. The Penguins have lost their last 8 trips to the United Center and I clearly see this as a letdown down spot in the last game of their 3 game road trip.

Chicago Bears +125

The Bears (3-7) are in Atlanta to face the Falcons (4-6), both teams come into this game having lost 2 straight, however, I’d say that these teams are going in opposite directions. The Bears have actually showed quite a bit of progress on the offensive side of the ball as J. Fields seems to be improving week by week. The Falcons due to injuries look worse week by week especially defensively, if not for a stupid DJ Moore 15 yard penalty for taking off his helmet after a TD the Falcons would be heading into this game losers of 4 straight. This game will probably come down to which QB scrambles the best out of the pocket to convert critical 3rddowns and I clearly favor Fields here. I like the Bears to surprise the Falcons on the road.
