Dallas Stars -1.5 +148

The Stars are in Philly to face the Flyers this afternoon. The Stars are off a surprising home loss Friday night versus the Sharks, Stars goalie J. Oettinger was playing his first game back from an injury and showed some rust, however, I expect him to be back in form for this afternoon’s game. The Flyers are on a B2B and 3rd game in 4 days today, and didn’t look great versus the Sens yesterday afternoon. The Flyers are also projected to be going with backup F. Sandstrom who’s lost 3 of 4 starts with a GAA of 3.07. I like the Stars to take this game by multiple goals.

Seattle Kraken -1.5 +199

The Jets visit the Kraken tonight on a B2B off a 3-2 loss to the Flames last night. The Kraken will be looking to beat the Jets for the first time in franchise history as the Jets swept the season series 3-0. Both teams have started the season strong to the surprise of many, the Jets were expected to be a middle of the pack team as best while many expected the Kraken to struggle again. The Jets rebound has been due to the play of goalie C. Hellebuyck, however, he isn’t projected to start being on a B2B and that is where the advantage goes to the Kraken. Jets backup D. Rittich hasn’t been great this season with a GAA of 3.07 and a save percentage of .885 and the Kraken are really strong on home ice at 5-1-1. I like them by multiple goals tonight.

Cleveland Browns +3 +108

The Browns (3-5) visit the Dolphins (6-3) this afternoon in Miami. The Browns are off a bye and have had 2 weeks to prepare for this game, but the game plan shouldn’t be that difficult today. Give the ball to N. Chubb and K. Hunt and run it down the throats of the 29th ranked run defense in the league. If the Browns can limit the amount of possessions the Dolphins get today I feel they will be in a great position to even win this game straight up. Also, Dolphins Coach M. McDaniel has shown a propensity to make questionable calls at critical points in game that have yet to backfire, example not kicking a FG to go up 9 versus the Steelers in Week 7. I like the Browns to keep this game close worst case scenario and can even see them winning this game straight up.
