The Jets host the Chargers tonight on MNF, the Jets coming into this game riding high having won 3 straight games while the Chargers are off a win over the Bears on SNF. Both teams are dealing with injuries to key players, the Jets already had injuries to A. Rodgers and others and now added Center C. McGovern to the list which weakens their O-Line, the Chargers for their part already lost WR M. Williams for the season and now have his replacement J. Palmer on the IR now. The Jets still have a great defense and should be able to slow down J. Herbert and his lack of weapons tonight. I like the home dog here.

Dallas Stars -.5 +110 regulation

The Bruins visit the Dallas Stars in what will be G2 of a mini 2 game road trip, the Bruins lost for the first time in regulation Saturday night to the Red Wings 5-4, and now play another team that has come out of the gates playing well. The Stars sit at 7-2-1 and a lot of their success can be attributed to the play of goalie J. Oettinger, his 1.97 GAA and .940 save percentage have play a huge role in their great start. The Bruins will most probably counter with J. Swayman in goal and he's equally playing well this season. I just like the home team here tonight to get the job done in regulation.

Vancouver Canucks -105

The Canucks host the Oilers tonight in a battle of Western Canadian teams, the Canucks have already gotten the better of the Oilers twice this season. The issue for the Oilers continues to be goaltending as they've given up 3 plus goals in 8 of their first 10 games to start the season and you don't have to ask why they lost 8 of them. Right now the Oilers offense isn't clicking and you can see how this team can and will struggle of they can't outscore opponents. The Canucks are the better team and should be able to take down the Oilers for a third time this season.
