The Padres head to Minny to start a series with the Twins, the Twins are off a series with the Guardians where their offense was non existent scoring a total of 5 runs over 3 games. The Padres themselves weren't any better losing 2 of 3 to their rivals the Dodgers scoring 8 runs over 3 games. Tonight it will be M. Wacha versus L. Varland on the mound, Varland has been a spot starter for the Twins to this point and hasn't been great in those starts surrendering 7 ERs in a little over 10 innings pitched. Wacha has an ERA over 5, however, 2 bad starts have ballooned that number. I like the Padres offense more that the Twins right now and will back them as a very small road favorite.

Tampa Bay Rays -128

The Rays look to continue their dominance of Major League baseball when they look to win the 30th out of 37 games played tonight. It will be Z. Eflin on the mound versus G. Rodriguez, many thought the Rays were crazy to hand Eflin the contract they did during the offseason but they look like a genius so far as he's 4-0 with an ERA of 2.25. Rodriguez for the Orioles is going through the typical rookie ups and downs, pitches great in one start and gets hit around in the next but he's had more downs the ups to this point. I like the Rays here to continue their winning ways.

Dallas Stars -1.5 +194

The Stars look to rebound from an embarrassing 7-2 G3 loss tonight versus the Kraken. Stars stalwart J. Benn had harsh words for his teammates after the game saying "We got what we deserved" in the blowout loss. This will be a pivotal game for the Stars as going down 3-1 would be devastating to their chances of getting to Conference Finals. The Stars are veteran laden squad and will be up to the task after G3's debacle, G2 & G3 were not close affairs and it expect the same result in G4.
