The Brewers and Royals play G2 of their 3 game series tonight in KC. The Royals won the opener last night by a score of 3-2. Even though we have starters that have exceled to this point this season in C. Rea and S. Logo, I like the over here. Firstly, Rea has gotten excellent run support from his team as they scored 4 runs or more in 5 of his 6 starts this season. It is the same for Lugo, who’s gotten 6 runs or more of run support in 4 of his 7 starts. The wind will be blowing out in KC tonight and mixed with offenses that support their pitchers, I like the over in this game.

NY Mets/St Louis Cardinals O8.5 -105

Last night we called the under in the Cards Mets game, tonight we’re going the other way with the over when J. Butto faces M. Mikolas on the mound. Butto has pitched well in 4 of his 5 starts this season with his one clunker coming versus these Cards on April 26 th when he game up 4 ER in 5 2/3 IP. Mikolas hasn’t pitched well all season sporting a 5.68 ERA and giving up 3+ ER per game seems to be the norm for him. I see both offenses breaking out here tonight resulting in a high scoring game and cashing the over.

Pittsburgh Pirates -1.5 +164

The Pirates look to extend their win streak to four games tonight when they take on the Angels. It will be P. Sandoval on the mound versus Q. Priester, Sandoval have been bad from the get go of the season as he’s allowed way too many baserunners with a 1.78 WHIP which has elevated his pitch counts and not allowed him to go deep into games. He hasn’t pitched more than 5 2/3 innings in a game this season, his road ERA is 7.16 on the season and the Pirates will be able to get to him tonight. After a rough first start versus the Red Sox, Priester has rebounded nicely over his last two starts allowing only 2 ER over 12 IP. He should be able to contain this weak Angels offense still missing M. Trout. I like the Pirates by multiple runs here.
