The Oilers look to even up their series with the Knights tonight, they couldn't take advantage of L. Draisaitl's four goal effort in G1 as they lost a high scoring affair 6-4. The Oilers will need to shore up their defensive play and get better goaltending tonight, you can't expect that you will score 5 to 6 goals on a regular basis in the playoffs. Going back home 0-2 isn't necessarily the end of the world in the NHL, however, the Oilers have shown an ability to win on the road this season and in the first round versus the Kings, so I will back them up here to even the series.

Chicago Cubs -1.5 +113

The Cubs look to take game 2 of this series after winning the opener last night 4-1. The Cubs send another lefty to the mound in D. Smyly after J. Steele dominated the Marlins lineup yesterday. There is no reason to get off the Smyly train right now as he's pitched really well so far this season especially at Wrigley Field where his ERA is a miniscule 1.53. The Marlins with counter with B. Hoeing and they haven't fared well in his 2 starts as they've lost both. I like the Cubs here to win by multiple runs.

St Louis Cardinals -1.5 +108

The Cardinals look to end their 7 game losing streak and try to turn things around in what has been an abysmal season to date. Today they send veteran A. Wainwright to the mound in what will be his first start of the season, Wainwright has been around the block and knows he needs to put a solid performance. The Tigers counter with S. Turnbull whom hasn't pitched well as can be displayed by his 6.84 ERA. I like Wainwright to pitch well and the Cards to win by multiple runs today.
