Tonight is G2 of this mini 2 game series between the Rangers & Phillies. We have M. Perez facing Z. Wheeler on the mound; the advantage is clearly in the Phillies favor. Z. Wheeler had a tough start to the season as he didn’t pitch much during spring training there his first 3 starts were more or less his spring training and he got batted around. I think he will be more dominant going forward as we saw him pitch 6 scoreless inning in his last start versus Colorado. M. Perez is a soft tosser and think he will get hit hard by the Philly bats. I like the Phillies big here.

KC Royals +129

The Royals host the Cards this afternoon; we have A. Wainwright versus K. Bubic. As I have mentioned in previous write ups, if I’m going to go against Wainwright it will be when he starts on the road and that is the case again today. Wainwright sports an ERA around 5.40 on the road and the Cards have lost 2 of his 3 starts. I know Bubic hasn’t been great, but he had one really bad start that has inflated his ERA. I like the Royals at home here.

Colorado Rockies -1.5 +132

The Nats & Rockies meet tonight at Coors Field. The Nats scored early and often last night in a big 10-2 win over the Rockies. Tonight we have P. Corbin versus A. Gomber, Corbin has an ERA over 8.00 and has been terrible in 3 of his 4 starts this season. Gomber has actually pitched very well outside of 1 start this season and I expect him to be able to neutralize the Nats bats tonight. I like the Rockies to return the favor for the big loss the suffered last night and get a big win.

Minnesota Wild -136

The Wild host the Blues for G2 of this series. You can pretty much say that this is a must win game for the Wild as they cannot afford to go St Louis down 2-0 in the series. I expect the Wild to come out strong and set the tempo for the game. The crowd will be rocking tonight at Xcel Energy Center and I expect the Wild to feed off that energy. M Fleury has a lot of playoff experience and I expect him to carry the Wild to a victory and even this series at a game apiece.
