Scott is still looking for his first MLB win as a starter, he was on his way on his last start but a Mets bullpen collapse ended that chance. Gallen for the DBacks is pitching well on the season with a 3.12 ERA and is looking to rebound here as the DBacks have lost his last two starts. The Mets are reeling right now have lost three straight to three straight games where their offense has been non existent, scoring a combined 5 runs over the three losses. Tonight will not be easier versus an ace like Gallen. Yes the DBacks have been underperforming 50 games into the 2024 season but will be able to get the job done versus the Mets tonight. 

Seattle Mariners -1.5 +154 & Houston Astros/Seattle Mariners O7.5 -105

The Astros and Mariners finish off their four game series this afternoon, the first three games have gone to the Mariners and have been low scoring with no game scoring more than 6 runs. Today it will be S. Arrighetti on the mound versus L. Gilbert, Arrighetti is really struggling this season with a 6.93 ERA on the season and he's even worse on the road where the Astros have lost all four of his road starts as his ERA balloons even more to 10.26. Gilbert continues to dominate on the mound with his ERA of 3.06 on the season and is even better at T-Mobile Park where his home ERA is 2.36. Sweeping a four game series isn't easy but Arrighetti has been so bad that the best option in this game is backing the Mariners and Gilbert to cover the run line and this game to go over the total.
