Gray can dominate and limit their scoring chances, and lastly umpire P. Cuzzi is behind the plate tonight and if you watch a game umpired by him you’ll notice he has a huge strike zone that benefits the pitchers. The under is 7-2 in games umpired by him with 6 of the games not scoring more than 5 runs.

The Rays look to even up their series with the Yankees tonight after the Yanks beat them 7-2 last night. It will be J. Taillon versus J. Springs on the mound; Springs has been great for the Rays this season with his ERA of 1.32, Taillon has also pitched well for the Yanks as he sports an ERA of 2.95. Taillon has had struggles with the Rays since he joined the Yanks, last season he pitched 3 times versus the Rays losing 2 of 3; both losses were by2 runs or more. I like the Rays to get to Taillon and win this game by more than 2 runs and even this series at 1 game apiece.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 +147

The Marlins are in Atlanta for a weekend series with the Braves. We have 2 young pitchers on the mound tonight in T. Rogers and I. Anderson, Rogers is really struggling this season compared to last year, he’s been roughed up several times including his last start which was versus the Braves where he gave up 5 runs in 4 innings. Anderson has had some average outings but has performed better than Rogers. Rogers has pitched twice versus the Braves this season, the Marlins lost both games by 2 runs or more. I like Braves hitters to rough up Rogers again and make it 3 in a row versus the Marlins with him on the mound.
