The Rangers were so close to gaining home ice advantage in this series in game 1 as they lead all game before giving up a goal late in the 3rd and then eventually lost in OT. This is a big game for the Rangers as going home 2-0 in a series is never ideal, as I mentioned in my write up before game 1 my biggest concern in this series was the level of play from I. Shesterkin and he proved me wrong as he really played well. I think the Rangers can even this up before heading back to MSG.

Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 +122

The Reds are in Toronto for face the Blue Jays for a weekend series. The Reds have played better as of late but they’ve also played some pretty weak offensive teams. Trying to outscore the Jays will be a lot more difficult than the Pirates & Guardians. I don’t think there is a need to overthink this game; the Jays should be able to score early and often this weekend versus the Reds. Don’t be surprised if I back the Jays again Saturday or Sunday.

Detroit Tigers -1.5 +162

The Tigers are in Cleveland to face the Guardians for a weekend series. We have T. Skubal who’s pitched very well this season versus A. Civale who’s been a gas can all season. Civale has an ERA over 9, and it isn’t one bad start that has gotten the number there, he’s been pretty bad in every start except one. The Guardians have problems scoring runs on a regular basis and can easily see them being shut down by Skubal tonight. I like the Tigers to win by multiple runs tonight.
