The White Sox look to sweep the Guardians this afternoon when D. Cease faces L. Allen on the mound. After being a Cy Young finalist last season, Cease has not looked the part so far this season sporting an ERA of 4.86 and a WHIP of 1.45. However, he did look like his old self in his last start when he pitched 6 scoreless innings and struck out 5 versus the Astros. Hopefully, that was a sign that things have turned around for him. Right now the Guardians offense is really struggling having not scored more than 3 runs in a game over their last 4 games. I have to back Cease and the White Sox on the run line here.

Tampa Rays -1.5 +143 & Tampa Bay/NY Mets O9 -111

We got a little luck on our side when we hit the over last night between these two teams as it was 1-0 heading into the 7th and then the flood gates opened and the final score was 8-7. Runs haven't been hard to come by in this series as the first 2 games have resulted in 13 and 15 runs scored. Both offenses are rolling right now and but I do believe that T. Bradley will be able to contain the Mets offense more than T. Megill will be able to slow down the Rays lineup. Plus CB Bucknor is behind home plate and the over is 5-1 in the games he's behind the plate. I like the Rays on the run line and the over here.
