Things went from bad to worse yesterday for the Mets as they were blanked 5-0 yesterday afternoon by the Reds. Now they head to DC to face the Nats, the Nats are returning from a west coast trip where they went 3-3. Tonight it will be T. Megill versus M. Gore on the mound, Gore has pitched better than Megill to this point of the season but on paper the Mets have a more potent lineup even though it's been dormant over the last 2 games. You have to figure the Mets will bust out offensively soon and I like it to start tonight.

Seattle Mariners -113

The Mariners start a series with the Tigers tonight, it will be two lefties on the mound when M. Gonzales faces M. Boyd. Neither has been particularly good this season as both are sporting an ERA over 4.70. The one solace Gonzales has is that he's received great run support when pitching on the road at 6 runs per game. Add to that, that Boyd has a home ERA well north of 6.00 and we have the recipe for a nice road win for the Mariners.

Golden State Warriors +125

It's G6 of this series between the Warriors and Lakers tonight as we get to see another battle between LeBron and S. Curry. The Warriors will need to accomplish something which they've had issues with all season and that is winning on the road. They were able to come up big in the first round versus the Kings by winning G5 & G7 on the road and will need that same type of magic to get this series to another G7. The stars on both sides are battle tested to this point of their careers, however, I will back Curry and Klay in this matchup as I like the Warriors to force a G7.
