Boston Bruins -.5 +111 (regulation)
We have a rematch from 3 days ago tonight when the Bruins host the Leafs with the only difference being the Bruins are the home team this time. After disposing of the Leafs 4-1, the Bruins followed that up with a 2-1 OT loss to the Oilers. The Leafs rebounded with a 2-1 OT win versus the Sabres last night and will be on the back end of a B2B. The Leafs will probably be going with J. Woll in goal as Samsonov got the start last night while the Bruins will be countering with J. Swayman. Expect another tight divisional game between these 2 sides, however, the Bruins have won 6 straight games versus the Leafs and I like them to make it 7 straight as the Leafs for some reason or another do not matchup well against them.
Pittsburgh Penguins -.5 +100 (regulation)
The Pens are hosting the Caps tonight, the Penguins got back on the winning track Tuesday with a 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets keeping their slim playoff hopes alive after returning home from a 1-3 road trip, The Caps are another team with slim playoff chances, but traded away Dman J. Edmundson this afternoon and forward A. Mantha yesterday showing that they aren't going to fight for a playoff spot, expect more trades from them before tomorrow's trade deadline. The Pens with the likes of Crosby, Malkin Letang and Karlsson won't quite in their quest for a chance of making the playoffs and believe they will play hard tonight and going forward. I like the Pens to take care of business versus a depleted Caps lineup in regulation.
Arizona Coyotes +127
The Coyotes host the Wild tonight, after suffering 15 straight losses, the Yotes have won 2 of their last 3 games and looked a lot better. The Wild for their part haven't played well of late losing 3 of 4 with their only win versus the league worst Sharks. The Wild have confirmed MA Fleury in goal while the Yotes will counter with K. Vejmelka, Vejmelka has won his last 2 starts and played really well in his last start which was a Yotes 5-2 win over the Caps. The Yotes have held their own versus the Wild of late winning 3 of the last 4 meetings as their young players have played well. Anthony's NHL Model which is available to Pro Subscribers has the Yotes with an expected value of close to 4% at the current line and I like them to upset the Wild on home ice.
