The Habs return home from a west coast road trip that saw them go 1-3 with their only win versus the Sharks, now they get to face the 2nd best team in the Eastern Conference and the talent gap between these 2 clubs is glaring. I verified the Habs schedule going forward and they will be massive underdogs in their next 9 games, so they will be looking down the barrel of possibly losing 12 straight games. The Canes have won 4 straight versus the Habs and all 4 were by multiple goals, tonight should be no different, expect a big win by them.

Tampa Bay Lightning -.5 -175 (regulation)

The Bolts host the Flyers tonight; it will be a game between 2 teams that are really struggling at the moment. Like many that follow hockey, the word struggle is one that usually isn’t associated with Tampa, but they’ve lost 8 of their last 10 games. The Flyers have done exactly the same, losing 8 of 10. But let’s be realistic, the Bolts are more likely to break out of this slump tonight than the Flyers are, the Bolts have dominated this matchup winning 8 of the last 10 meetings and I expect them to right the ship in a big way versus the Flyers tonight.

St Louis Blues/Arizona Coyotes O6.5 -106

The Blues are in Zona to face the Coyotes tonight; the Blues continue to struggle and the fact that the unloaded R. O’Reilly & V. Tarasenko at the deadline really has exacerbated things as well. They’ve now lost 7 of 8 and looked pretty bad in the process. The Coyotes haven’t been much better losing 5 of 6 and have looked out classed on most nights. When you have 2 teams out of the playoff race you can expect a lot of scoring chances as players are less likely to sacrifice their bodies to stop scoring opportunities to avoid injuries. I think we see a decent amount of goals tonight.
