Toronto Maple Leafs -.5 -132 (regulation)

The Maple Leafs are in Vancouver to face the Canucks tonight, the Leafs were very active at the trade deadline adding 6 new faces to their lineup and we saw that their cohesiveness was not the best in Edmonton Wednesday in a 5-2 loss, they looked slightly better the following night in a 2-1 win over the Flames. With all the new acquisitions for the Leafs the talent gap between these 2 teams is pretty wide and outside of their last game versus the Wild where they only surrendered 2 goals, the Canucks are still too weak on the defense end and that will not serve them well tonight versus one of the best offensive teams in the league.

LA Kings -.5 -130 (regulation)

The Kings host the Blues tonight; the Blues finally broke their 6 game losing streak last game with a win over the Sharks, but in all honesty the Sharks have not provided much fight in their game of late. The Kings upgraded their goaltending and defense at the trade deadline with the acquisition of J. Korpisalo & V. Gravrikov which will really help them going forward. The Blues are a mess right now, their coach C. Berube has been calling out their players in the media and that is not going over well in the dressing room. Plus the Kings have won 16 of the last 23 meetings at home versus the Blues, I expect the Kings to take care of business in 60 minutes.

Ottawa Senators -.5 -160 (regulation)

The Sens welcome the Blue Jackets tonight in a game between a team looking to make a playoff push and the other looking to win the C. Bedard sweepstakes. The Sens have now won 4 straight and this is their last home game before heading out for a 5 game road trip, it is also a game the Senators cannot take lightly as they need every available point going forward as they sit 4 points out of a playoff spot with 3 games in hand on the Islanders that sit in the #8 seed. The Blue Jackets have won a total of 7 of 28 road games this season, are on a B2B where they’ve only won 3 of a possible 12 games in that spot, the Sens should and will take care of them in 60 minutes.
