Vegas Golden Knights -.5 +114 (regulation) & Vegas Golden Knights/St Louis Blues O6 -105
The Knights begin a road trip tonight with a game versus the Blues in St Louis. The Knights have turned things around as they're getting healthier by the day, they have won 5 of their last 7 games and are scoring at a high clip, they have scored 3 plus goals in 6 of those 7 games. The Blues are equally hot as they've won 6 of their last 7 games while scoring 3 plus goals in every one of those 7 games. The Knights have already confirmed L. Thompson in goal and with the Blues fighting for a playoff spot, I expect them to start J, Binnington, neither goalie has been rock solid this season. Both sides are scoring with ease and getting so so goaltending from their goalies. I like the Knights to take this game in regulation in a high scoring game.
Vancouver Canucks -123
The Canucks host the Kings tonight in a game between Pacific division opponents. The Canucks have a strong hold on the Pacific division with a 10 point lead over the Oilers with about 10 games to play. The Kings have only a 2 point lead over the Knights for the 3rd spot in the division and could still catch the Oilers for home ice in the playoffs if they play well down the stretch. Even though the Canucks lost #1 goalie T. Demko to injury, C. De Smith has filled in admirably as he's given up 2 goals or less in 4 straight starts with the Canucks winning 3 of them. The Canucks are one of the best home teams in the NHL and will be able to matchup with the Kings as they choose with the last line change being the home team. I like the Canucks to take care of business versus the Kings.
