The Jets are in Columbus to face the Blue Jackets, the Jets look to win 2 straight games for the first time since the beginning of March while the Jackets continue to struggle having lost 4 of their last 6 games. The Jets have confirmed C. Hellebuyck in goal while the Jackets are going with E. Merzlikins, Merzlikins has been Jekyll and Hyde of late either playing well or poorly in his starts with no in between. Tonight could be very difficult for him as the Jets have scored 3 plus goals in 6 of their last 8 games, especially considering how weak the Jackets are on the defensive end. I like Hellebuyck to play well here tonight and the Jets to win this game by multiple goals.

Detroit Red Wings +121

The Red Wings are in Pittsburgh to face the Penguins tonight, as predicted yesterday the Penguins went back too losing in a big way versus the Rangers 7-4. Tonight will not be any easier for them as they play a young Red Wings team fighting for a wild card spot for the playoffs. Both teams haven't been playing well of late as the Wings have only won 3 of their last 10 while the Penguins have only won 2 of their last 10. However, the Penguins have proven over the last couple of weeks that if they're playing a team with more talent than them they really have a tough time winning games. With the likes of DeBrincat, Raymond, Kane etc... the Red Wings are younger and have more talent than the Penguins. I like the underdog Red Wings to win on the road.  

Carolina Hurricanes -.5 -130 (regulation)

The Canes are in Ottawa to face Sens tonight, both teams needed OT to win games last night, the Canes came back from 2 goals down late in the 3rd to tie it up and eventually beat the Leafs 5-4, while the Sens beat the Isles 4-3 in extra time. Both teams are playing well as the Sens have won 3 straight while the Canes have won 5 of their last 6 games. The Sens have confirmed A. Forberg in goal and he hasn't been very good on the season with a 3.21 GAA and a sub .900 save percentage and has lost 2 of his last 3 starts. The Canes are one of the best defensive teams in the NHL and will easily limit the Sens scoring chances and will be able to take advantage of the defensive liabilities. I like the Canes in regulation here.
