Chicago Blackhawks +1.5 -111
Don't look know but the Blackhawks have won 3 of their last 4 games, granted all 3 wins were versus the Yotes and Ducks, they did score a combined 19 goals in those 3 wins. That is a huge number even versus bad teams, rookie sensation C. Bedard has recorded 10 points over those 3 wins. The Kings have still not returned to the level of play they were at at the beginning of the season, and have been playing .500 or worse since the first 25 games of the season. The Kings are not lighting up the lamp of late on the offensive end scoring more than 3 goals in only once in their last 5 games. If the Blackhawks can score 3 goals here tonight I believe they will cover the puck line.
Tennessee Vols 10 -108
The Miss St Bulldogs and Tennessee Vols meet in one of the quarterfinal games of the SEC tournament this afternoon, the Bulldogs rallied from a halftime deficit to be the LSU Tigers 70-60 yesterday, while the Vols had a bye and will be playing their first game of the tournament. The Vols have had plenty to stew from their home loss to the Wildcats 85-81 on March 9th and should be ready to go today. The Vols are lead by Z. Ziegler and D. Knecht and have been one of the better defensive teams in the SEC over the last month. This is a large number to cover, however, if the Vols continue their strong defensive play and do not go into an offensive funk for any long period of time, will cover this number.
St John's Red Storm/UConn Huskies O146.5 -108
Rick Pitino's Red Storm faces the UConn Huskies in the semis of the Big East tournament tonight. Ever since Pitino ripped his team in the media Feb 19th, the Red Storm players have responded accordingly and have yet to lose a game. They have run off 6 straight wins while scoring on average close to 89 points a game. The #2 ranked Huskies continue to look like one of the better teams in college basketball and will be a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament. The Huskies have won both games versus the Red Storm with relative ease this season but that was before this offensive rejuvenation from St John's. I'm not saying St John's will win this game, but they're so red hot on the offensive end that I do believe they will crack 70 points today, making the over the play here.
