The Panthers host the Blackhawks tonight; the analysis on this game isn’t very difficult to process. The Blackhawks stink and the Panthers are playing better and looking to make push to the playoffs. The Panthers goaltending is finally coming around and that has shown in their results. They’ve won 3 of their last 4 games as they’ve surrendered only 5 goals. What a concept, don’t give up a lot of goals and you’ll have a very good chance of winning games! The Panthers have won their last 5 home games versus the Blackhawks and should be able to name the score here.

Calgary Flames -1.5 -152

The Ducks are in Calgary to face the Flames; the Flames have now won 2 straight and have cleaned up their game and now only sit 4 points the Jets whom are reeling for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Ducks have lost 3 of their last 4 games with their only win coming versus the lowly Habs. The Flames have totally dominated the Ducks winning 8 of the last 10 meetings with 5 of the 8 by multiple goals. The Flames are in must win mode and will not take the Ducks lightly tonight, expect a big victory by them tonight.

Minnesota Timberwolves -4.5 -106

The TWolves host the Nets tonight; the Nets had their 3 game winning streak snapped their last game with a loss to the Bucks 118-113, the TWolves also have their own 3 game winning snapped as well last time out in a loss to the Sixers. The Nets have several players (Johnson, Dinwiddie & Claxton) that aren’t 100% healthy and I personally feel that will be a factor in the outcome of this game. Also the Nets have had zero success ATS in Minnesota for several years now going 5-16 ATS and I expect that futility to continue.
