The Padres and Angels play G2 of their three game series tonight, last night’s game was a snooze fest offensively in a game that finished 2-1 for the Angels. Tonight A. Mazur will be making his MLB debut for the Padres versus lefty P. Sandoval, Mazur was pitching well between AA & AAA where his ERA was 3.86. Sandoval has not been great this season but has been pitching better of late as he’s allowed 2 ER or fewer in four of his last six starts. I expect another low scoring game here as the Padres struggle to hit lefthanders and the Angels have only score more than 3 runs in a game once over their last six. I like the under here.

Cincinnati Reds -1.5 +122 & Cincinnati Reds/Colorado Rockies O10.5 -115

The Reds look to build on their big win over the Rockies in G2 tonight of this series, the Reds took the opener last night 13-3. It will be F. Montas on the mound versus T. Blach, Montas is really reeling right now as the Reds have lost his last five starts as giving up 3-4 runs seems to be the norm for him right now. Blach has pitched well over his last two starts but the reality is he’s a backend starter at best on a Rockies rotation that has plenty on injuries. The Reds offense is performing well having scored 5 runs or more in four straight game and I like them to roll in this game versus Blach and the Rockies.
