The Padres look to sweep the Royals this afternoon when M. King faces C. Ragans on the mound. The Padres have battered around Royals pitching in the first two games of this series to the tune of 18 runs on 25 hits. Granted things will be tougher for them today as they face Ragans, but they still have plenty of weapons offensively in Tatis, Machado, Arreaz and Profar. M. King for the Padres has been excellent on the road this season with a 3.00 ERA and the Padres winning four of his six road starts. If King can control the top 4 hitters of this Royals lineup which I believe he will, the Royals don't have much in terms of quality hitters below that. For that reason I will back the Padres to sweep the Royals this afternoon.

Miami Marlins +113 & Texas Rangers/Miami Marlins O8.5 -105

The Rangers and Marlins play the rubber game of their three game series this afternoon, it will be a matchup of two lefties when A. Heaney faces T. Rogers. Talk about zero success for these two starters and their teams when they start a game, the Rangers are 1-9 overall in 10 Heaney starts and the Marlins are even worse at 1-10 in Rogers' 11 starts.  Neither is pitching well as Heaney has a 4.69 ERA and Rogers is at 5.65, however, Rogers has shown some flashes lately of turning things around pitching really well in two of his last three starts. I think we will see some runs scored today and the Marlins to outhit the Rangers who aren't playing well on the road an overall this season.
