The A's travel to Arizona for a weekend series with the DBacks, tonight it will be JP Sears versus C. Cecconi on the mound tonight. Neither of these starters has been very good this season, however, Cecconi is beyond bad pitching at home. In three home starts, his ERA is a whopping 13.15, has given up 6, 6 & 7 ER in each game and obviously the DBacks have lost all three. Sears has clearly pitched better than Cecconi, however, he hasn't been great either with a 4.86 road ERA meaning that the DBacks will be able to score runs as well. Cecconi has proven that he cannot pitch well at home and Sears will give up runs as well, so I will back the underdog A's and over the total. here.

Detroit Tigers/LA Angels O9 +105

The Tigers and Angels play G2 of their four game series tonight, last night's game was a bit of a snoozer as Tigers were unable to get on the board in a 5-0 loss. However, with K. Maeda and Z. Plesac on the mound I expect plenty of runs to be scored, Plesac was recently added to the Angels rotation and will only be making his 3rd start of the season, his ERA sits at 8.68 and he hasn't had much success over his career to this point. Maeda for his part is not having a good 2024 season, his ERA on the season is 6.00 and a lot worse on the road at 9.90. Add these two starters to umpire A. Marquez who's record is 5-1 to the over in AL games averaging 14 runs a game, you have to like the over here.
