After splitting a 4 game series with the Red Sox, the Twins now head to Detroit for a weekend series with the Tigers. It will K. Maeda versus J. Wentz on the mound, Maeda is coming off the IL as he hasn't started a game since April 26th, we hasn't performing well to that point but his injury was the cause of that. For the Tigers, Wentz hasn't pitched well all season, his ERA is 7.02 and his W/L record is 1-7. It is very simple Wentz does not put the Tigers in a position to win games, I will back the Twins that have been playing better of late.

Milwaukee Brewers/Cleveland Guardians U8 -111

The Guardians host the Brewers for a weekend series between 2 teams that seem to be limited on the offensive end. The Brewers just finished a 3 game series with the DBacks were they only scored 7 runs over 3 games and the Guardians put up runs over 3 games versus the A's but let's be honest the A's starters don't really scare opposing lineups. Tonight it will be two veteran hurlers on the mound in W. Miley and S. Bieber, Bieber has great at home with an ERA of 1.89 and Miley has also been strong on the road with an ERA of 3.20. I expect a low scoring game between 2 teams that lack offensive punch and 2 quality starters going.

Baltimore Orioles +101

The Mariners are in Baltimore to face the Orioles, it will be L. Gilbert on the mound versus K. Gibson. I see value in the home dog Orioles here for the following reasons: L. Gilbert isn't dominating opponents on the road this season with his 4.57 ERA, the Mariners are 5 games under .500 on the road at 15-20, the Orioles are 9 games over .500 at home at 22-13 and K. Gibson has been very respectable at Camden Yards with his ERA of 3.53. Before last night's 10 run outburst versus the Yanks the Mariners offense was very anemic and I can see that being repeated tonight in Baltimore, give me the Orioles.
