The Cards and Nats play G2 of their series tonight when J. Montgomery faces M. Gore. Both teams continue to struggle as they're both last in their respective division. When you look at the ERAs of both starters they're very respectable, the issue is their teams do not provide them with any run support. Montgomery has a 3.20 road ERA but the Cards are 1-6 in his road starts, Gore has a 4.20 home ERA but the Nats are 1-5 in his home starts. The math isn't hard to put together, these teams do not support tonight's starters in these spots. Expect another low scoring affair for these 2 teams.

Chicago Cubs -125

The Cubs took another game from the Pirates last night making it 4 straight over them in the last week. It will be a big mismatch on the mound when M. Stroman faces J. Oviedo, Stroman is have a CY Young caliber season at 8-4 and an ERA of 2.46. He hasn't given up more than 2 ER in 6 straight starts. Oviedo struggled in his last start versus these same Cubs giving up 4 ER in 4+ innings. The Cubs offense continues to roll as they put 8 on the board last night. I like the Cubs to continue rolling offensively and take another game from the struggling Pirates.

Toronto Blue Jays/Miami Marlins O8 -111

The Jays try to even up this 3 game series with a win tonight when Y. Kikuchi faces E. Perez. The Jays didn't look good in an 11-0 beat down last night. I expect them to bounce at least offensively tonight. Miami's E. Perez has had the benefit of not facing the best offensive squads since being added to the Marlins rotation, tonight that will be different. For the Jays, Kikuchi has struggled to find success on the road as his road ERA is 4.87, but the Jays have found a way to win 5 of his 8 starts, which clearly means that they provide him with run support. Expect another high scoring game between these two teams.
