The Pirates and Jays play G2 of their series this afternoon, it will be righty M. Keller versus left Y. Kikuchi, after a rough start to the season Keller has really turned things around over his last four starts. The Pirates has won all four as Keller has only allowed four runs total over that stretch. For the Jays, Kikuchi has probably been their most consistent starter since the beginning of the season but hasn't been fortunate when it comes to run support as his season ERA is 3.25 but the Jays have lost 8 of his 11 starts. They have now lost six straight Kikuchi starts and have scored three runs or less in five of them. With the way Keller is pitching of late and the lack of run support Kikuchi gets, the underdog Pirates are the play here. 

Seattle Mariners -1.5 +130 & LA Angels/Seattle Mariners O7.5 -107 

The Angels are in Seattle to play G2 of their three game series with the Mariners, it will be R. Detmers versus B. Miller on the mound. After a very solid start to the season for Detmers it has been all down hill for him since the end of April, over his last 7 starts Detmers and the Angels have lost six of them while his ERA is a disastrous 8.59, the over in those seven games is 5-1-1. Miller for the Mariners has been solid at T-Mobile Park where his home ERA is 2.48 and the Mariners have won four of his six starts, I expect Detmers's struggles to continue here as he's allowing close to two hitters per inning to reach base and that is a recipe for disaster in MLB. I like the Mariners on the run line and over the total today.
