The Padres and Marlins finish off their 3 game series this afternoon when J. Musgrove faces J. Luzardo. Musgrove hasn't had a great start to the season but did show signs of improvement in his last start versus the Yanks going 6 innings allowing only 1 run. Luzardo for his part has been solid at Loan Depot park sporting an ERA of 2.57. Last night was a low scoring affair in a Marlins 2-1 victory and I expect more of the same this afternoon between two quality pitchers on getaway day with some regulars probably getting a day off.

Arizona Diamondbacks -1.5 +112 & Dbacks/Rockies O9.5 -108

The Dbacks look to sweep the Rockies tonight when Z. Davies faces C. Anderson this afternoon. The Dbacks are rolling right now winning 4 straight and 7 of their last 10, while the Rockies have lost 3 straight and have given up a lot of runs in the process. The Rockies have given up 5 plus runs in every game of this series. I expect to see runs tonight as neither pitcher is very good as Davies has an ERA over 5.50 while Anderson has an ERA of 1.31, most of that success came out of the bullpen and his career ERA is well above 4.00. I like the Dbacks to win this by multiple runs and go over the total.
