The Dodgers look to even up their series with the Phillies this afternoon when B. Miller faces A. Nola. The Phillies won the opening game in dramatic fashion with a K. Schwarber walk off homerun. Miller has been nothing but dominant since joining the Dodgers rotation and should stay there even when Urias returns from the IL. For the Phillies, Nola has pitched well for the most part, however, he is prone to throw clunkers every so often, in 13 starts this season on 6 occasions he's allowed 4 ERs or more in a start. You would expect and like more consistency from a top level starter. I like the Dodgers behind another dominant start from Miller to win by multiple runs.

Cleveland Guardians -129

The Guardians look to win their 4th straight game tonight when T. McKenzie takes on J.P. France. McKenzie coming off the IL to mad his first start of the season last time out was super effective as he allowed zero runs in 5 innings while striking out 10. The addition of McKenzie will make the Guardians a real force with their rotation as they already have Bieber, Allen, Civale and Bibee pitching well. The Astros are in a rut right now having lost 4 straight and outside their 9 run performance last night have been struggling to produce runs. I like McKenzie to dominate again and the Guardians to win their 4th straight.

Arizona DBacks/Detroit Tigers O9 -111

The DBacks and Tigers play G2 of their weekend series when R. Nelson faces D. Boyd. Last night produced 17 runs in a DBacks victory 11-6, I expect more fireworks this afternoon as neither starter is pitching well, Nelson has an ERA of 5.40 while Boyd is slightly higher at 5.57. The DBacks bats are rolling now having scored 5 runs plus in 4 straight games, the Tigers continue on their path of misery having now lost 7 straight and 9 of their last 10. The Tigers will eventually win a game again but I'll stay away from that and just go with the fact that several runs will be scored today.
