The Mariners visit the Padres for a mini two game series, it will be L. Gilbert on the mound versus A. Mazur. Mazur has really struggled since being added to the Padres rotation at the beginning of June and you really have to question why he’s trotted out there every fifth day considering his lack of success and the Padres in the Wildcard hunt. His ERA is 7.52 on the season and has forced the Padres to play comeback in 5 of his 6 starts. Gilbert continues to pitch well, to the tune of 2.91 ERA, however, wins has been difficult to come by as the Mariners offense not helped him much this season. I believe that will change for the Mariners with Mazur on the mound as he’s given up 3 ER or more in 5 straight starts with the last 3 easily going over the posted total. I like the Mariners on the runline and over the total tonight. 

Toronto Blue Jays +105

The Jays are in San Francisco to face the Giants tonight, it will be a battle of lefties on the mound as Y. Kikuchi faces B. Snell. The Jays come into this game having won two straight while the Giants have lost two straight, Kikuchi has struggled over his last 4 starts allowing 4 ER or more in 3 of them, however, they’ve been versus good offensive teams in the Yanks, Astros, Guardians and Red Sox. He will find things a little easier versus the Giants who aren’t great offensively. Snell will be making his first start since the beginning of June as he was on the for already the second time this season. Snell has made 6 starts this season and never once has he made it to the 5th inning while giving up at least 3 ER in every game. Tonight will be no different as I like the underdog Jays here.
