The Cubs look to win their 5th straight game tonight when M. Stroman faces L. Lynn on the mound. This may also be Stroman's last start for the Cubs as the MLB trade deadline nears. Stroman is having an excellent season (3.09 ERA) and been a real bright spot for them. Lynn hasn't pitched well at all this season, he has an ERA of 6.18 and WHIP of 1.44, the White Sox are who they are at this point and that is a team that is 20 games under .500. The Cubs offense has been rolling over the last 4 games and I expect it to continue tonight versus Lynn.

NY Mets +135

The Mets and Yanks go at it again in the Bronx tonight, it will be a battle of lefties between J. Quintana and C. Rodon. Quintana will only be making his 2nd start of the season while Rodon will be making his 4th. Things are not going well for Rodon as his blew kisses to Yankee fans in Los Angeles and not in a good way after a 3rd rough start in a row. Outside of their recent sweep of the Royals which with the A's are the worst teams in baseball, the Yanks have lost 7 of their last 8 games and are struggling. I like the Mets here.

Atlanta Braves -155

The Braves send S. Strider to the mound trying to rebound from last night's 7-1 loss. He will face B. Bello who's struggled over his last 3 starts surrendering 11 ER over 17 innings. Strider is definitely not having the same type of season as he was last year but the Braves have been providing him with an insane amount of run support. The Braves have won 17 of his 20 starts this season and he's pitched really well on the road with a 2.94 ERA. I like the Braves to take G2 of this mini 2 game series.
