Atlanta Braves -1.5 -107

The Braves and Brewers close off their 3 game series this afternoon when B. Elder faces for Brave J. Teheran. Too say that both these 2 starters are struggling of late is a real understatement, over their last 3 starts both starters have given up more ER than innings pitched: Elder 14 ER in 12 2/3 innings & Teheran 17 ER in 16 2/3 innings. I'm expecting a lot of runs to be scored in this game and I have more faith in the Braves lineup as it is a lot more consistent than the Brewers. I like the Braves by multiple runs here.

Chicago White Sox/Minnesota Twins U 8.5 -111

The Sox and Twins play G3 of their series this afternoon, the Twins look for the sweep as the Sox have had issues scoring runs. Last night was a pitchers duel between D. Cease and S. Gray, I expect the same sort of result between L. Giolito and B. Ober. Giolito has been average at best this season but has had a lot of success versus the Twins, this will be his 3rd start versus them and in his previous 2 he has given up 2 ER over 13 innings with 14 K's. Ober for his part has been excellent at Target Field with a 2.98 ERA. I like another low scoring game between these 2 teams.

LA Dodgers -1.5 +138

The Dodgers look to sweep the Rangers this afternoon when E. Sheehan faces M. Perez. The Rangers have been totally blitz in the first 2 games losing 11-5 & 16-3, the Rangers just lost C. Seager to the IL with a thumb injury and could also be without A. Garcia whom was hit in the hand by a pitch last night. X-rays came back negative which is a relief, but he could get the day off to provide more time to heal. Without Seager and Garcia in the lineup this Rangers team doesn't look the same offensively. The Dodgers have been tearing the cover off the ball in Arlington and I expect that to continue this afternoon!
