I'm going with a big dog coming out off the All Star Break with the Sox tonight. It felt like half the NL All Star squad was made up of Braves on Tuesday and I question how much rest they all got between the game and late nights over the 4 days. It will be M. Kopech versus C. Morton on the mound and both have pitched well of late, I'm going to roll the dice here and back the big dog White Sox versus a team that might need a couple of more day for their players to get back into the groove.

Cleveland Guardians +124

Going against another team here with a bunch of All Star representation in the Rangers. It will be A. Civale versus J. Gray on the mound. Civale has been nasty on the road this season with an ERA of 1.25 while Gray hasn't been anything special at home with an ERA 4.27. Like the Braves mentioned above the Rangers players probably didn't rest much over the last 4 days and I think fatigue will be an issue here. I will back the underdog Guardians tonight.

Boston Red Sox/Chicago Cubs U 9.5 -116

Unless the wind is blowing out a Wrigley, I don't understand why this line is so high. Even if it is tonights' starters in B. Bello and K. Hendricks should keep this game below the number. Hendricks plays to contact but a lot of that contact in on the ground and not in the air. Bello on his side has only allowed 3 ER in a start once in his last 12. I expect a low scoring game between these two sides as both starters should dominate.
