The 49ers visit the Cowboys for the 3/6 matchup in the NFC. In my opinion, the winning formula will be simple for the 49ers. If Jimmy G can avoid any big mistakes the 49ers will win this game. I like the 49ers DLine lead by Nick Bosa & Arik Armstead to put pressure on Prescott all game. I don't think the Dallas D will have anyone that can match up well with D. Samuel & G. Kittle. Lastly, the no brainer choice here is coaching, do you really want to back Mike McCarthy over Kyle Shanahan in a game like this. I know I don’t, 49ers win straight up.
Cincinnati Bearcats +141
The Bearcats are in Wichita to face the Shockers this afternoon. The Shockers are anything but guaranteed to win at home with their 6-4 straight up record. They’re also 0-3 in conference play in the American. The Shockers really don’t have any quality wins either, their best win is over OK St or UNLV, and I’m not impressed with either of those 2 teams. The Bearcats are no world beaters themselves but did beat Illinois (#14) straight up and did play Arkansas (#13) tough in a 6 point loss. The Bearcats winning this won’t surprise me at all.
Vancouver Canucks +171
The Canucks are in Washington DC to face the Caps in an afternoon tilt. Both teams are on a B2B, however, off different results, the Caps blanked the Islanders 2-0, while the Canucks lost 4-1 to the Canes. The Canucks have 2 games left on this 5 game road trip which they’re 0-3 so far. This trip has had and has them pitted versus 5 of the strongest teams in the league (Flo, TB, Carolina, Wash and Nashville). This afternoon might be their only chance to salvage a victory on the trip as winning the last game of a long trip is always the hardest as you’re normally exhausted and just want to get back home before the last game. I like them to come out strong here and break the losing streak.
