Nashville Predators +104

The Preds host the Avs tonight. Both teams are on winning streaks, the Avs have won 3 straight while the Preds have won 2 straight. The Avs have been winning low scoring games as their offense is struggling as they’re still dealing with injuries to their stars N. McKinnon & G. Landeskog. They were fortunate to play the Habs and Islanders in their last 2 games where they scored a combined 3 goals and still won both games. Going on the road won’t be as easy tonight where the Preds will have the final line change and can chose the matchups they want to limit the Avs offensive chances. The Preds will try to avenge their 3-1 loss to the Avs on Dec 17th and I think they get that done on home ice.

OKC Thunder -2 -106

The Thunder host the Pelicans tonight in OKC. The Pels will be on a B2B after taking care of business versus the Spurs last night 126-117 led by CJ McCollum’s 40 points. However, they face a much tougher task in the streaking Thunder off 3 straight wins versus the Trailblazers and Grizzlies. The Thunder are riding the hot hand of SGA who’s scored over 27 points in 5 straight games. The Pels are without Zion tonight as he’s in health and safety protocols, you can get by a team like the Spurs without him, but it will be a much tougher task versus the Thunder, especially on a B2B. I like the Thunder to cover the number here.

Milwaukee Bucks +130

The Bucks are in Brooklyn to face the Nets tonight. Everyone is talking about how the Nets are back now that they’ve won 7 straight, but let’s be realistic here none of those 7 wins were versus a team win a winning record, so yeah they should have and were expected to win those games. Now they face a step in competition in the Bucks tonight and I don’t think there is someone on the roster that will be able to contain Giannis. Also the Bucks are coming off a loss to the Cavs and have been excellent in this spot getting back to winning at they’re 8-1 straight up following an L. I like the Bucks to show Nets that their still the top dog in the East and to end their 7 game winning streak.
