The Oilers are in Dallas to face the Stars tonight. The Oilers are in one of those slides again losing 3 straight as their defense and goaltending is starting to falter. They’ve given up 4 goals in every game during the losing streak and they cannot expect McDavid and Draisaitl to manufacture 4 to 5 goals a night. You need to be able to win some games 3-2 and 2-1 in the NHL. Stars’ goalie J. Oettinger has turned things around after a rough stretch and has the Stars rolling. I’m siding with Anthony here in taking the Stars; I will just back them at -1.5.

Anaheim Ducks +1.5 +103

The Ducks host the Wild tonight in Anaheim, it isn’t too often that you can actually catch an NHL team at +1.5 and plus money. Well that is what we get tonight with the Ducks. This is a matchup that the Wild have totally dominated winning 10 straight, however, many of those 10 wins haven’t come easy as 7 have been by only 1 one goal. These 2 teams played a couple of week ago in Minny and the Wild needed OT to come out victorious 5-4. The Ducks have played better of late winning 2 of 5 games on their road trip which is very good for them. I like them at home tonight to keep this one close.

Toronto Raptors +110

The Raptors are at MSG to face the Knicks tonight. Talk about 2 teams going in opposite directions right now, the Raps have lost 6 straight while the Knicks have won 8 straight. The Raps were so close to breaking their losing streak last time out versus the 76ers but lost 104-101 in OT. The Raps are a well-balanced team with P. Siakam, S. Barnes, F. VanVleet and OG Anunoby, however, these 4 have not been able to have a good night at the same time, it’s been 2 shooting well and the other 2 having an off night. Eventually all 4 will put in together and get back in the winning column and I see that happening versus a team like the Knicks that are very beatable at home with their 8-7 record.
