Florida Panthers -1.5 +153

The Panthers host the Kraken tonight on Florida; the Panthers are on a B2B after losing to the Lightning last night on the road. With Brobovsky in goal last night, the Panthers should be going back to S. Knight putting them in much better shape to get a victory. Knight is clearly better and has taken the #1 role away from Bobrovsky. The Kraken are facing their first struggles of the season, having lost 3 straight and are having issues putting pucks in the net, they’ve scored a combined 4 goals in their last 3 games. The Panthers are a high octane offense at home that averages closes to 4 goals a game; I see them taking this game by multiple goals versus the Kraken that struggling to score at the moment.

Jacksonville Jaguars +155

The Titans (7-5) host the Jaguars (4-8) this afternoon. The Titans were looking solid 2 weeks ago at 7-3 and in a possible position to get a first round bye and full home field advantage in the AFC, now after 2 straight losses they have slide to fourth and only in a position to host an AFC Wild Card game. The AFC South is probably already wrapped up not because of how good the Titans are but because of how bad the rest of the teams have been. I like the Jaguars here to upset the Titans because of all the injuries their dealing with on offense and defense, their O Line is having serious issues creating holes for D. Henry as he hasn’t rushed for over 90 yards in 4 weeks. Outside of last week’s debacle versus the Lions, the Jags have kept many games this season and I think they will take this game on the road.

Hampton Pirates +125

The Hampton Pirates host the Bowling Green Falcons this afternoon, neither of these teams is very good with BG at 3-5 and Hampton at 3-6. The Pirates are led by sophomore guard J. Nesbitt whom averages almost 15ppg and right behind him are 2 senior guards B. Dean (13.3ppg) & M. Godwin (10.7ppg). The Falcons are led by their own seniors in L. Ayers III (16.6ppg) & S. Curtis (13.4ppg). I think this game comes down to home court advantage which I think gives the Pirates a very good chance to win this game. The Falcons are 1-3 on the road while the Pirates are undefeated at home at 3-0. I will back the Pirates as a small home dog.
