The Canes are in Ottawa to face the Sens tonight and look to breakout of their worst stretch of the season (4 straight losses). This have been a terrible road trip with losses to the Jets, Oilers, Flames and Canucks. They look to beat the last Canadian team on this trip before they head to Detroit. That may be tough task as the Sens have won 3 of 4, however, you never really know what you will get with the Sens as their goaltending is very suspect. Neither J. Korpisalo or A. Forsberg has been to perform well enough to be able to take the reign as the #1 goalie. The Canes haven't been this low in the standings in years and this team is still good enough for a playoff run later this season. I like them to breakout of their slump in a big way versus a Sens team that hasn't been very good this season.

NY Rangers -.5 -111 (regulation)

The Rangers host the Maple Leafs tonight at MSG, the Leafs are off an OT loss to the Isles and in a rough spot as they will be on a B2B and 3rd game in 4 nights. The Rangers are well rested having not played since Sunday and will have I. Shesterkin in goal versus AHL call up M. Jones. Jones will be making only his 2nd start of the season, the first did not go well as he gave up 6 goals. Jones wasn't even playing that well in the AHL with a 3.37 GAA and .870 save percentage. The Leafs are in a rough spot here with fatigue and I think they come out flat from the get go, I like the Rangers in regulation.
