The Phillies try to avoid the sweep to the DBacks tonight when B.Falter faces T. Henry, and unfortunately for them I do not see it happening. The DBacks have won 5 straight and are tearing the cover off the ball scoring 45 runs in the process. I do not see Falter as the type of pitcher that will be able to slow down the DBacks hot bats right now. T. Henry has pitched well since being added to the rotation and yes, the Phillies hit lefties well, I just like the hot bats of the DBacks at plus money here.

Cleveland Guardians -1.5 +122

We backed the Guardians last night -1.5 and I will do it again tonight when J. Lyles faces T. McKenzie. J. Lyles has not been good on the road this season as the Orioles is 5-9 in his 14 road starts with his ERA of 5.85 and WHIP of 1.47. McKenzie has come into his own this season with his ERA at 3.11 and a WHIP of 0.95 and he’s been even more dominant pitching at home where his ERA 2.78 and WHIP is .87 while the Guardians have won almost 80% of his home starts. I don’t see how the Orioles will cause him much trouble tonight and I like the Guardians to win by multiple runs again.

Minnesota Twins -1.5 +172

The Twins look to rough up the Red Sox for a second night in a row and sweep them in this 3 game series. They won 10-5 last night behind a big night from N. Gordon who hit a grand slam and drove in 6 runs. The Twins have won 5 straight and are getting hot at the right time to try and get one of the last Wild Card spots. Tonight will not be easy against M. Wacha who’s pitched well all season; however, the Red Sox aren’t playing well having lost 3 straight and 7 of their last 10. J. Ryan has been pitching well of late and the Twins are clearly the more motivated team at this point of the season.
