The Mariners look to take G3 of this 4 games series after taking the first 2 games. The Mariners have gotten great pitching in the first 2 games; M. Gonzales gave up 1 run over 6 innings in Thursday’s 3-1 victory while L. Gilbert gave up 2 runs in 6.1 innings in last night’s 3-2 win in extra innings. Seattle sends their more experienced and best pitcher in L. Castillo to the mound today to face Z. Plesac. Castillo has been nothing less than great since the Mariners acquired him and I expect him to neutralize the Guardians lineup. Plesac is really struggling of late losing 5 of his last 7 starts while posting a 5.71 ERA; I like the Mariners by multiple runs here.

Detroit Tigers +105

The Tigers and Rangers go at it tonight in Arlington; the Rangers took a tight game 7-6 last night. Tonight is a battle of lefthanders when E. Rodriguez faces D. Keuchel. I honestly can’t understand why Keuchel is even in the majors anymore, he’s on his 3rd team of the season after the White Sox and DBacks both designated him for assignment, he has an ERA of 8.71 and WHIP of 2.03. He isn’t getting anyone out with regularity and just isn’t getting the job done. Rodriguez is making his 2nd start since returning from the DL and he didn’t pitch great in his first one, however, Keuchel is so bad that the play is the Tigers here. For those that can parley reverse run lines, you may want to consider playing Detroit -1.5 for better value.

Arizona Diamondbacks -1.5 +142

M. Kelly and the DBacks look to put another nail in the White Sox playoff coffin tonight with a victory. After making the postseason last year, the Sox are gravely underperforming this season, yes injuries have played a part; however, their starting pitching has been a real Achilles heel, L. Lynn and L. Giolito have not pitched well at all, and for some reason they trotted D. Keuchel out there for 2 months when he couldn’t get anyone out. Tonight it will be D. Martin on the mound; he’s been serviceable up to this point in his 4 starts but the White Sox have lost 3 of the 4. Kelly has been great this season posting a sub 3.00 ERA and has 10 wins on a team that is 10 games under .500. The DBacks will take this game by multiple runs.
