Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 +107
I’m going back to the well here with the Jays, after beating the Red Sox 9-3 last night I expect more of the same tonight. The Jays send J. Berrios to the mound versus B. Bello. Bello has had absolutely no success in his 3 starts this season with one being versus the Jays in which he gave up 5 runs in 4 innings, his ERA on the season is 10.50. Berrios hasn’t been great on the road this season but did have one of his best road starts versus Boston earlier in the year. I like the Jays to tag Bello and win this by multiple runs.
Baltimore Orioles +108
The Orioles look to take G2 of this 3 games series tonight in Baltimore, the Orioles took the opener versus D. Cease last night 5-3. It will be L. Giolito versus S. Watkins on the mound, Giolito is not having a good year, and the White Sox have a losing record (10-13) in his starts as he’s sporting an ERA of 5.34. Watkins has pitched very well for the Orioles as have many of their young starters this season and will provide the Orioles with an opportunity to win this game. Many people thought the Orioles gave up on the season after trading T. Mancini and J. Lopez at the deadline; however, no one seemed to mention that in the Orioles clubhouse as they continue to win games.
Arizona DBacks/KC Royals U7.5 -113
We saw 10 runs scored last night between the DBacks and Royals; I don’t expect to see many tonight. We have two pitchers in Z. Gallen and B. Singer that have been dealing over the last month, Gallen has ERA of 1.13 while Singer’s is 1.83. Neither of these 2 teams have great offenses and can’t see how they will touch up either of their starters in their current form. Expect a low scoring game that stays under the total of 7.5.
SF Giants/Detroit Tigers U8 -103
The Giants took a low scoring game versus the Tigers last night 3-1 and I like another for tonight when L. Webb faces M. Manning. Manning has only made 6 starts on the season but has been unhittable at Comeria Park where his ERA is 0.90 in 3 starts. L. Webb is also having a strong season with his ERA of 3.08 and should be able to shut down the Tigers anemic offense. Expect another low scoring game tonight.
