We hit our first parlay of August yesterday at +736, we try to build on that today.

SD Padres -1.5 +143

The Dodgers and Padres finish off their 4 game series this afternoon when T. Gonsolin faces S. Lugo. Gonsolin is definitely not having the same success this season as he did last season as his ERA is really elevated at 4.11 and he hasn't pitched well of late with a 5.86 ERA over his last 7 starts. Lugo has been more or less consistent all season and has been really efficient of late allowing more than 2 ER in a game only once over his last 6 starts. If the Padres can provide him with a decent amount of run support, the Padres should cover the run line.

Toronto Blue Jays -130

The Jays try to build on the sweep of the Red Sox over the weekend as they visit the Guardians in Cleveland, it will be H. Ryu versus G. Williams on the mound. Ryu wasn't very successful in his 1st start of the season as the O's roughed him up for 4 ER in 5 innings. However, it is safe to say that the Guardians are not as offensively talented as the O's and Ryu should be able to have a little more success tonight. The Jays bats are rolling right now as they have scored 5 runs plus in 3 straight and should be able to get to Williams who's allowed plenty of baserunners in his starts this season.

Minnesota Twins -1.5 -102

The Twins another team on a winning streak (4) who visit the Tigers in Detroit. P. Lopez faces J. Wentz on the mound, Lopez has been particularly good for the Twins on road this season with a 3.39 ERA and outside one bad start versus the A's hasn't given up more than 2 ER in any one of his last 5 starts. Wentz will be making his 3rd start of the season versus the Twins and lost the previous 2 by 2 runs or more. Wentz hasn't been good at all this season with a 6.95 ERA and the Tigers losing 10 of his 15 starts with all 10 losses by 2 runs or more. I like the Twins here.
