The afternoon is the rubber match between the Phillies and Marlins when newly acquired M. Lorenzen faces J. Cueto on the mound. I'm sure the juices will be flowing for Lorenzen as he will me making his first start for his new team. Cueto will only be making his 4th start of the season for the Marlins. Behind home plate will be P. Cuzzi and we know the history here with the under as its 14-5 on the season. His strike zone is huge and that will benefit both starters here. I like the under between the newly acquired Lorenzen and the veteran Cueto.

Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 +128

K. Gausman and the Jays look to even up this 4 game series with a win versus J. Flaherty and the O's. Flaherty was the O's big pickup at the deadline and in all honesty I wish the O's would have tried to add a better starter than him. I don't feel that he's enough of a difference maker at this point. Gausman has 2.48 ERA at Rogers Centre and has already pitched well versus the O's this season. Also, J. Wolf is behind home plate and the home team is 14-6 on the season with average win margin of close to 2 runs a game. Give me the Jays on the run line.

LA Angels -1.5 +133

S. Ohtani and the Angels host the Mariners for a 4 game weekend series. Ohtani will face B. Woo on the mound, Ohtani will be making his 3rd start of the season versus the Mariners and they won the previous two. Woo for the Mariners is starting to show cracks in the armor as his last 3 starts have been difficult as he's given up 13 ER in 14 1/3 IP which resulted in 3 losses. The Angels were buyers at the deadline and their lineup is a lot better than prior with the additions of CJ Cron & R. Grichuk. I like the Angels here at home on the run line.
