The Tigers and Pirates conclude this mini 2 game series this afternoon when E. Rodriguez faces O. Bido. Bido hasn't had much success since he joined the rotation in mid June as the Pirates have lost 5 of his 6 starts. He hasn't had any success at home as he has a 7.50 ERA. Rodriguez is having a comeback season especially considering how poorly he pitched last season, he's especially been solid on the road with a 2.68 ERA. The Tigers are no offensive juggernaut, but with Rodriguez on the mound I like them to get this done on the run line.

Minnesota Twins -1.5 +123 & Minnesota Twins/Stl Cardinals O8.5 -121

The Twins and Cards play G2 of this 3 game series tonight when J. Ryan faces D.Hudson on the mound. Ryan hasn't been solid of late with a 5.79 ERA over his last 7 starts but the Cardinals are no longer the same team it was 10 days ago with the trades of P. Dejong, J. Flaherty, J. Hicks & J. Montgomery to name a few. Hudson will only be making his 2nd start of the season and will probably still be on a pitch count as he was in his 1st. Then the bullpen will have to go the rest of the way and that will be a problem for them as they sit at the 8th worst bullpen in the majors. The Cards have punted on the season and I like the L's to follow. I like the Twins on the run line and the over here.
