Detroit Tigers +103

The Tigers look to salvage a game in the last game of this 3 game series versus the Red Sox, the Tigers send M. Boyd to the mound to face K. Crawford. Crawford was battered around for 7 runs in 4 innings in his first start of the season versus the Pirates. Boyd was solid versus the Astros in one of the rare Tigers wins this season. Sunday's are weird days to cap as teams normally rest some of their starters and it's a travel day so even the best of teams are vulnerable. I like the Tigers here to get the win and avoid the sweep to the Sox.

Houston Astros -101

The Astros are 3-6 to start the season, this is a situation not many Astros fans were expecting when the season started. The injury to J. Altuve has clearly affected this team as they lost their leadoff hitter and table setter to this lineup. Today H. Brown heads to the mound to try and avoid being swept by the Twins. The Twins are another team that has several injuries but have been able to overcome them to this point. They currently have 3 regulars (Polanco, Kepler & Kirilloff) on the IL and eventually that starts to catchup to a team. The Stros are a veteran club and I like the to come out of Minny salvaging a game in this series.

Toronto Blue Jays/Anaheim Angels U9.5 -101

The Jays and Angels play the rubber match of their 3 game series this afternoon. The Angels came from 4 runs down last night to beat the Jays 9-5. Today we have two lefties on the mound in Y. Kikuchi and R. Detmers, Kikuchi really pitched well in his first start versus the Royals and it was a positive sign for the Jays as last season he was wild and was forced to throw meatballs down the middle as he feel behind too many hitters. Detmers was solid pitching at home last season where his ERA was 3.22 and I can see him pitching well this afternoon versus the Jays and this being a low scoring game.
