The Giants look to rebound from their loss to the Sox tonight when A. Wood faces L. Lynn. Wood will be making his first start of the season while Lynn tries to build on effecting start he had versus the Astros. The Sox are resting several starters today in Grandal, Moncada & Sheets which puts them at a disadvantage on the offensive side. I will back the Giants with the more complete lineup at plus money.

Arizona Diamondbacks +135

The Dbacks play their home opener tonight versus the Dodgers tonight, I have to admit that the Dbacks look like a decent squad and are taking advantage of the new changes to the MLB rules. They're winning games the old fashion way by stealing bases, using safety squeezes and any strategy that fits their lineup. They will be a thorn in the side to all clubs that are still waiting for the 3 run homer to win a game. The Dodgers are not the same teams an in years past. I like the home dog here.

Dallas Stars -.5 -155

The Stars host the Flyers in a game that can have huge repercussions on their playoff seeding if they lose. With the Stars, Avs & Wild all tied at 98 points they could be see sawing back and forth in the last 4-5 games of the season. It is for that reason why I feel the Stars will not take the Flyers lightly and get the job done. The Flyers have now lost 4 straight and can't see much motivation for them to play hard tonight. I like the Stars in regulation.
