Baltimore Orioles +193
The Orioles are in the Bronx for the finale of this 3 games series. The Orioles look to avoid the sweep and send B. Zimmermann to the mound this afternoon. He has been phenomenal to start the season through three starts so far. The Yanks counter with J. Taillon who also has pitched well to start the season. With it being getaway and the Yanks having to travel to KC, I can see regulars getting the day off, combine that with the way Zimmermann has been dealing, I like the value with the Orioles.
Detroit Tigers +122
The Twins host the Tigers in the finale of this 3 game series. I’m backing another team trying to avoid the sweep. The Tigers had high expectations for the 2022 season after adding E. Rodriguez & J. Baez via free agency; however, to this point the results have been disappointing through 17 games as the Tigers sit at 6-11. The season is still young and things can be turned around. Both starting pitchers T. Skubal & B. Ober have pitched well to start the season and this could turn into a pitching duel, but I like the Tigers at plus money to avoid the sweep versus the Twins.
Cincinnati Reds -1.5 +173
The Reds host the Padres in the finale of this 3 game series. The Reds haven’t won often this season as they’re 3-15, but Vegas is trying to tell us something with this line! Why is a team that is 3-15 favored versus a team at 12-7? There is a saying out there that many seasoned gamblers know and it is “There is something Vegas knows that we don’t”! I will use that for this pick, I will back the Reds in a situation where they shouldn’t be favored and go with the run line to get that extra juice. Watch the Reds win big today. Vegas knows baby!
