The Giants look to avoid being swept by the Tigers of all teams this afternoon. The Giants bullpen has choked away the first 2 games of this series, they had the lead in the 10th inning on Friday before losing on a 3 run homer and then gave up a 3 run 8th inning yesterday before losing in extras again. Today it will be L. Webb and his new 5-year, $90M extension that takes the mound versus M. Boyd. Webb hasn’t been dominant since the start of the season, but let’s face it; this Tigers lineup isn’t scaring many opposing pitchers. I like the Giants to avoid the sweep.

Atlanta Braves/Kansas City Royals U8.5 +109

The Braves finish off their 3 game series with the Royals today. It has been all Braves the first 2 games as they’ve won comfortably 10-3 & 9-3. Today the Royals send their veteran Z. Greinke to the mound to face K. Wright. Greinke keeps finding a way to excel on the mound at Kaufman stadium, last season he had an ERA of 2.32 at home and he’s following that up again with an ERA of 2.38 in 2 starts this season versus quality offenses in the Twins and Blue Jays. The Royals aren’t very special on the offensive end and Greinke pitches well at home, I like this game to go under 8.5 at plus money.

San Diego Padres -1.5 +123

The Brewers and Padres finish off their 4 games series this afternoon in San Diego; the Padres look to even up the series at 2 games apiece. The Padres sputtered offensively the first 2 games but came out with a vengeance yesterday in a 10-3 victory. Today we have veteran W. Miley facing Y. Darvish, Darvish has been stellar at Petco Park since the Padres acquired him and I like him to continue that dominance. The Brewers have been hitting above expectations and regression will come and I like that to occur today versus Darvish.
