Tonight we get a preview of a first round matchup when the Leafs face the Lightning, this game has absolutely no barring on playoff implications. It is also a game that I feel that will lack intensity as I'm sure both teams will be going through the motions and try to avoid injury and be prepared for a playoff run. Both teams look to be starting the number one goalies and with a lack of intensity a big possibility as I already mentioned from both sides I like the under in this game.

Vancouver Canucks -149

The Canucks are in Anaheim to face the Ducks, neither team is making the playoffs but one team has major implications to draft positioning if they win the game and that is the Ducks. The Ducks currently sit with the 3rd worst record in the league and with a win would tie the Sharks at 60 points and worsen their probability of the 1st overall pick. The Ducks have been in tank mode for some time now having lost 11 straight games and don't see much effort being put in to win tonight.

Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 -132

The Jays play their home opener tonight versus the Tigers. Rogers Centre will be rocking tonight as Jays fans are super excited for this season. The Tigers offense has more or less been non existent since the start of the season as their starting 9 is very flawed. Jays starter A. Manoah rebounded nicely in his last start versus the Royals after being hit around on opening day by the Cards. I expect him to pitch well again tonight versus a weak Tigers lineup. The Jays bats should be able to get to M. Manning and win this game by multiple runs.
